Hey all you free loading sum bitches, you still need some edumacation.
The internet is in a time of turmoil, the days of sites using pop-up ads to earn extra revenue by website owners sacrificing the integrity of their sites are dying out, and so are their incomes. You also have newcomers trying to learn the business model losing money faster than it can be printed and then of course you always have the crooked criminals just do whatever they can to make a dime online. All of these together can make for a very unsafe browsing experience. New breeds of scams are being generated and actually been in use quite some time now. "What is at risk?" you ask. "Am I not just surfing the internet anonymously?" you wonder. "Did I really do something stupid and take away 5 bucks from ampland.com?" you giggle. Every time you open your web browser, you should be aware what's at risk.
Are you scared? You should be scared, I am writing this trying to scare you. Be scared but don't be afraid. This guide is made to use this fear to make yourself aware of what's going on and how to not get tricked and understand the tricks these con men and criminals are using to get your information, or steal from others, and to protect yourselves. The scams are changing, and the methods use to scam you are getting more technically advanced. This guide will shed to light on what they are doing to earn money off you, and basically you won't even be aware that's actually going on. The end result is your computer being compromised, your financial information and also your favorite honest sites ad revenue.
Your ignorance, lack of knowledge and
love for free stuff, and of course some trickery as well as
exploited software bugs for starters. Let's not worry about how they
are scamming you, lets find our first why they are scamming you.
GREED. Behind most every online scam is a financial reason.
Let's stop writing novels and just get started with the scams.
The virus and/or trojan scam has been
around forever. But still today, most no one understands why people
infect other people with virus and trojans. Are people really that
evil? No, while there are a few who don't understand the
consequences and find it intriguing to do much harm, it mostly stems
from well, you guessed it.. Money. How the heck do they earn money
installing virus?
Here are a few top reasons why you get infected with virus/trojans
these days
Virus / Trojan scams have been out there for quite some time, but even the government is not understanding why they are so popular, well I thought now you should know...
The obvious reasons most people know
about, they want to hack in your computer and get whatever info they
can about you.... Old and dieing tricks were to install dialers,
that called out a toll number and rang up your phone bill and the
scam runners get commission. Well here is some more info that most
people are unaware of. Internet traffic = money... Real or fake,
they want to infect your computer (and millions of others at the
same time to simulate real web traffic) When you get infected, you
start getting all kinds of crazy pop-ups and whatnot, or perhaps you
don't even know you are opening a hidden web browser that is doing
this many times per day. They resell this traffic via traffic
brokering... Honest people have websites they created and want
people to visit them and buy into this traffic scam. Usually done
through phoney traffic provider websites, and also ebay, etc. etc.
It's real ip traffic alright, but you never are going to get the
chance to buy something from the site.... The end site purchasing this traffic doesn't
realize this and it's already too late, they paid and from the stats
report. It looks real! Believe it or not customers are happy paying
for this phoney traffic as it fools them so well! (Except they
normally didn't make a sale) I will give you website owners and law
enforcement people a hint... Web traffic is not cheap, and anyone
involved in selling cheap traffic can usually be traced back to or a
lead to those installing these viruses...
Go get'em coppers.
Details on how you can stop Virus/Trojan Installers can be found below
This is the new breed of internet scamming going on today. You might not even know it, but those pop-ups you see on some sites are not deriving from that particular site, but by the adware installed on your system. They key in on certain domain names or search queries and the adware is getting fancier to the point they can analyze data and what you are searching for and deliver relevant ads in which are pre-paid or commission based. Unfortunately, not all spyware and adware is illegal and most of it is doing more then they claim its actually doing, or hiding what is actually going on in fine print.
THIS IS WHAT I REALLY WANT YOU GUYS TO UNDERSTAND. When you are surfing websites, and looking at free porn videos, which now sites are featuring FULL LENGTH ADULT MOVIE DOWNLOADS FOR FREE, you are most likely being tricked. The movie sites being built out there with all this great new content is there for one reason, making money screwing you over.
#1 They normally require you to install some sort of toolbar, or some sort of MOVIE PLAYER or other kinds software. BUZZ! Wrong, they are really meaning is they are installing ADWARE / SCAMWARE. Most of the places even tell you in fine print that they are going to screw you over really good in a disclaimer in which you do not read because you are lazy! This is what makes it legal, You are actually agreeing for them to screw you and others over! All for the crappy free content they offer you.. BEWARE, BE VERY AWARE!
Many companies are paying website owners over 50 cents for every surfer they get infected, because over time, they will make 5000 times that. (How hard can it be to make you click a free porn movie and accept the terms of the popup?) This is what you need to be alarmed about, you should not install those weird things people ask you to install to browse when browsing for xxx porn videos and the likes. Unless you are completely sure of the nature of the website and have solid evidence it is ok, it most likely is some sort of spyware or adware or scamware. If it is not from a trusted site, such as microsoft.com, flash.com etc and the likes, you can bet it is probably not going to be very safe! Make sure you research ALL plug-ins and software you install on your computer! Type the program name in Google or any search engine, ask your friends, get recommendations! Also be very sure on the spyware remove programs you are installing are from real spyware providers! They even try to trick you with free spyware removal software that is spyware itself!
I hope I am scaring you again, we need to get this under control or the internet is going to be a serious place of untrust and cause worse meltdown then the old .com crash days.
Details on how you can stop Spyware/Adware/Scamware Installers can be found below
It is only up to you the surfer to put these adware companies out of business. These companies prey off you to attack honest website income such as ours, everyday, by popping up ads on our sites, steal you from our site to theirs, changing the cookies on your computer to steal sales from our or any other enterprises advertisements, and selling ad placements on sites that they do not even own or are associated with. That's right, if you visit our site and click on our advertisements supporting us, you might be supporting someone else who has infected you stealing our ad revenue! That's pretty fucked up, so I hope you take the time out to secure your computer and learn how to browse and keep your computer up to date, safe and free of harms way.
For starters, make sure you have the following
1. Up to date
Anti Virus Software
2. Spyware Detection & Removal Software
3. Patch Your Computer Weekly! (RUN WINDOWS UPDATE!!!!)
4. Be very careful when blindly browsing adult websites. Try and use
trusted sites such as ampland.com and their link partner list
whenever possible.
5. Be very careful when installing movie players, they should run on
default system software provided by your OS. Special players or
downloads needed are usually a sign of suspiciousness. Research all
software/plug-ins that are asked to be installed on your system
6. Be very careful when downloading free internet games and video
content... They like to use these types of sites to infect you.
7. Having a router/firewall or firewall software is really
recommended for EVERY household/computer connected. You should learn
what a firewall is and take the time to completely understand it..
Most go without it because of lack of knowledge that can make
internet inaccessible.
8. Do Not OPEN email attachments. Hell, I think email attachments
are the worlds worst way of sending files, I say just delete the
crap. If you need a family member to send you a picture, I say have
them get web space from their ISP etc, and link to the picture from
there. Hell, if you're family member or friend got infected and you
open the attachment they sent you, you might get infected too on
their behalf.. Not worth the risk!
9. Beware of downloads that are trying to install ActiveX Controls
into your browser.. Research them completely before installing!
10. Make sure your browsing software is up to date with current
versions. Old versions may have bugs or vulnerabilities that just by
browsing some websites may infect your computer! Just by visiting
their site! Keep your software upgraded!
11. Ask your friends and family members what they use for protection
and what they know about.. I do this every day and continue to learn
better software available, what's good, what's to watch out for and
what sites you should be browsing or staying away from!
12. Be very wary of TORRENT, MP3, audio and WAREZ Sites.. and any
software that provides these services. The number one site for this
type of software is currently installing spyware for quick money!
And if you have torrent software, you probably are already infected!
13. P2P file sharing is on the rise as a quick way of infecting
you... be aware of what it is and how to stay safe.
14. Do not click thru to email spams. While some spammers want
to sell some gooods for commission, some want your credit card
info or infect you when you browse the site. Nothing good comes
from those emails.... Spyware is going to kill spammers, hard to
tell if this is good thing or not. But just dont click.
15. Be careful who you are giving your info to, when filling out
web forms. Use real ISP email/info for orders from your favorite top sites,
but use free email accounts, and not so pertinant information for
everything else. Never give out your Social Security number
through the web.
16. Read the privacy policy of all the sites you visit and make
sure you know what they are doing with your private information.
I will have a guide to safe software to download added shortly that will help you get started with some protections needed stated above. It's here now - Software Guide
Last Month we were approached by a adware company offering us without even knowing anything about our traffic or services. $200 a day to start just to promote links to their "FREE PORN VIDEO CLIPS" Luckily I was familiar with this knowledge and scam already, and you know what old AMP came back with... a good old fashion MIDDLE FINGER IN THEIR FACE AND A SMILE THAT SAID I WOULDN'T PROMOTE YOUR CRAP FOR $5000 a day... "EAT SHIT AND DIE ASSHOLE!"
But we know the world aint full of AMPateers, and you can bet a lot of idiots are taking this company up on this offer....
FUCK EM ALL!!! LET EM MAKE A MONTHS SALARY AND THEN GO TO HELL WITH NO MONEY TO BUY ICE AS THEIR SITES AND THEIR SOULS WILL ALL DIE!!!
Please have a safe surfing and fun experience all. As always you can bet AMPLAND is one of the safest places to surf adult and we have a strong team always on duty making sure no funny business is going on. Don't be afraid to send in an email if you see anything weird going on...
We wish you only the best of times!
